Along Came Betty- Pore Goodness Sake/Pore-fectly clean, hot cloth cleanser

So a few months ago I was walking through Tescos and in the corner of my eye I saw what looked like Soap and Glory, so I looked again and I saw the Along Came Betty Skin care range with a lot of products that resembled Soap and Glory at very cheap prices, so I had to give it a go.
This product particularly interested me because I like to use Hot cloth cleansers at this was at such a cheap price of £4.00 A bargain. And you also get a muslin cloth, although the muslin cloth is not the best i've tried I find it much more rough then for example the Liz Earle Cleanse and polish.
Another thing that particularly interest me was the ingredients- Cocoa butter and shea which are good for the skin and I love trying out natural products and Cocoa butter is particular good as it does not dry out the skin.
So first i'd like to note a disclaimer before I start: Firstly this is not a sponsored review and secondly when I review products I try it for at least over a month so I can give it to the best of my opinion and it usually takes around a month for your skin to get used to a particular product. (One reason why you shouldn't switch too many times).
When using this product I massage the product on my face for around 1-2 minutes so it can penetrate then I rinse the muslin cloth with warm water and wipe with the muslin cloth. Then I rinse the make up off the muslin cloth and wipe my face with just water on the muslin cloth.
The cleanser claims to banish the dirt and excess oils on the skin and it also mentioned a few other things on the box which I no longer have. So Sorry!
The consistency is thick and creamy very easy to massage into the skin and a little goes a long way. I still have roughly 1/3 or more of my tube left after using it for over a month so it is well worth the price!
So anyway I found that this cleanser was good at removing make up because you can see it all going on the muslin cloth as you wipe it and when I rinse and wipe with just water there's not a trace left. However, I never saw a difference in the appearance of my pores of which I began to have more clogged pores around my nose and I began to get blackheads which I never usually get, I believe the reason for this is that I have oily skin and as this is very creamy I just had excess oils clogging my pores, So to my dismay I stopped using this product. One thing I cannot fault is the smell, it is soo nice you can smell the cocoa and shea with hints of the anti oxidant cranberry and sometimes I just reach for the bottle to take a whiff because it is that nice which I just did right now!!
I would recommend this product as a cheap alternative for other more pricier cleansers but to be on the safe side I'd also invest with another gentle wash or scrub to use after cleansing to make sure that every last bit of dirt is gone, but everyones skin is different so may be try it out as it could improve your skin.
Another drawback is that it says to avoid the eye area so you'll have to use a separate cleanser to clean off your eye make up which can be an extra hassle but sometimes what I used to do was wipe any eye make with cleansing wipes then when i'm wiping my face again with just a rinsed water muslin cloth I wipe my eyes too.

My shopping essentials

As you should know I'm only a 17 year old teenage girl so I don't usually go grocery shopping to Asda, Tescos etc. But, I do visit every holiday and at this time of the year in the UK it is February half term and I went to Morrisons with my mum yesterday just to restock on my essential things that usually run out by the time its the next holiday

So these are the main items that I normally get when I run out and I simply cannot live without them.

Garnier Mineral Invisible Deodorant-£2.99
This is not the specific deodorant that I get, to be honest i'm happy with any deodorant as long as it has a nice smell and last long. I prefer spray then roll ons because I just think it is more hygienic and just more better. The reason why I picked this particular one was because I was looking for the biggest spray can and this was one of them (250ml). Also I noticed on the shelves that you now get 75ml compressed ones. I did want to buy that but I thought hat 75ml was a bit less and it looked a bit too small but I do want to try it out sometime. Let me know in the comments on your opinion.

TRESemme Liquid Gold Restorative Complex- £4.00
This is one of the products I always buy when I've ran out because I do like it, it's a hair oil with argan oil infused and it makes my hair really soft and less frizzy, because my hair is usually very frizzy!!I will be doing a full review on this product if interested so stay tuned!

Wrigley's Extra chewing gum- £1.99
I'm not a chewing addict but I do have to carry them around me and make sure I'm stocked with gum. I normally have gum in the mornings after breakfast and lunch while I'm at school because I wouldn't want to risk having bad breath with my friends and I don't think anyone would. I prefer Extra because the flavour is long lasting and as the saying goes a little goes a long way.

Polo Spearmint- £1.00
I absolutely LOVE this spearmint polo and often when I have them I more or less finish half or sometimes the whole packet in one go, that's how much I love them. If you like spearmint you MUST try these, they are so nice to snack on. When I don't feel like chewing gum then i opt for a polo or if i'm revising or doing homework or watching a movie I always snack on Polo's. Sad thing is they don't last very long :(

Maybelline Baby Lips- £2.99
I love the Maybelline baby lips especially for school because they give a nice colour depending on which you have. I always buy Peach kiss which is a nice gloss nude colour which is really natural for things like school or just lounging around at home if you want that extra sparkle. They do last quite long for me but I don't always wear it which may be the case. But if wanted I will do a full review on this product.

Pledge Multi Surface 5 in 1- £2.20
This is probably an uninteresting one for you but since this is one of my essentials I have to be honest and include it, but i'll keep this short. Anyway I always need to buy furniture wipes and I buy any brand as long as it wipes dirt and dust I am happy- I am pretty much a clean freak and I hate mess and dirt so I do get
upset when the wipes run out(then I start using baby wipes!).

Garnier intensive 7 day hand cream-£2.99
I have extremely dry hands and I always need to carry a hand cream in my bag, this is one that I like because it feels like not greasy and does the job. My dry hands have reduced so some day if I do forget to cream I can do without whereas with other hand creams didn't really make any improvements. Another one of my favourites is the body shop hand cream priced at £5.00, they smell amazing but I can't always go in to town and buy it so I stick with the cheaper version.
